在五彩缤纷的生物世界中，各种生物的体型的（即身体大小）差别非常大，这可以说是生物（也包括人类）在形态学上最明显、最重要的特征了。现在已经积累的科学数据表明，体型这个形态学特征具有丰富的生物学内涵，令人迷惑的是，它对几乎所有的生物学特征，无论是结构的还是功能的，都具有重要的、深远的影响。例如，体型可以影响生物的生态学、地理学、行为学（如觅食、繁殖婚配）、生理学（如代谢、消化）、生长发育和进化过程，甚至分子生物学的特征（如DNA）等。那么，生物的体型有哪些生物学意义呢？其背后有怎样的生物学机理呢？为什么会对生物学特征产生如此广泛的影响呢？
生物的行为、形态和生理等特征与体型之间存在着一种定量关系，也就是说这些生物学特征会随着生物体型的变化而产生定量的变化。生物体的生物学特征与体型的这种依赖性关系称为异速增长关系(allometry)。这种关系可以用一个数学表达式表示：Y = aX b , 其中Y为生物学变量（如动物的代谢率、脑的重量、心率等）；X 为体型（一般用体重表示）；a 为常数；b 为函数幂（也称尺度因子）。根据这个公式，可以推测，如果变量与体型是线性关系，则：b=1；当体型对变量没有影响时，则：b=0。在非线性关系中，如果生物学变量改变的比例小于体型改变的比例时，则：0〈 b〈 1；当变量改变的比例大于体型改变的比例时，则： b>1。Huxley 在20世纪20年代提出用一个幂函数描述生物的相对生长时，就引入了异速增长的概念，之后不同领域的研究者们提出了大量的异速生长经验公式，有关这方面也有许多重要著作出版，如Peters的《体型的生态学意义》 [1] 。Peters 在他的著作中，列出了1000多个异速增长公式以描述不同的动物特征与体重的关系。有趣的是这些异速增长方程的尺度指数b = 3/4 或 b=2/3。目前学术界一直争论的一个主要问题是，b值到底是2/3 还是3/4 [2-5] ？
最著名的异速增长方程应该是著名动物能量和营养学家Max Kleiber在生理学中提出的哺乳动物的代谢率随体重的0.75次幂进行变化(b = 3/4)，这就是经典的“鼠-象”曲线，也被称为 Kleiber规律（或3/4 定律）。迄今，在哺乳类、鸟类，甚至更高的分类阶层（如内温动物和外温动物）以及单细胞生物中也建立了众多的类似的异速增长方程（图1）。由于在内温动物中，动物产生的热量是通过体表散失的，而动物的体表面积与体重的关系尺度是2/3，所以动物的能量代谢与体重的尺度关系应该是2/3 （或称 2/3 定律）。

实验生物学者和理论生物学者通过各种途径验证异速增长规律, 研究发现b值的范围是2/3 到 3/4 [7] 。2/3 定律或3/4定律都得到了理论和实验研究的支持 [2,4] 。由于2/3定律的物理基础的限制，学者们近年来更倾向于3/4定律，人们提出了许多理论试图解释为什么b= 3/4。West 等 [8] 根据模型提出了异速增长定律1/4幂的分形理论 (fractal theory of quarter power allometric law)。由于生物的结构和功能受系统的（如氧、营养物质和水分等）供应速率的影响。这个理论的一个主要的设是，在对一个能量转换单位（如有机体内的细胞、线粒体和细胞中的呼吸分子等）提供供应时，有机体是利用类似分形的、分级转换系统进行的。还有两个基本定：1）分形式的转运网络的最后分枝是进行物质转换的场所，最后的分枝大小应该是不变的（即大象与鼩鼱的微血管的直径是相同的）；2）有机体通过这种分形网络进行物质传递时会使所需要的能量最小化，这个机制是自然选择进化来的。这就是代谢率（或其他特征）与体重的尺度指数是3/4的原因。
Dodds 等利用整合分析(meta-analysis)方法重新分析了已经发表的关于鸟类和哺乳动物的基础代谢率(BMR)的数据，没有发现拒绝b=2/3而支持3/4的证据 [9] 。近年的许多研究也表明，似乎不存在一个单一的尺度指数，更多支持多元尺度指数的结论。Glazier详细总结了种内和种间的尺度指数，指出3/4幂定律不是普遍存在的，并提出了代谢水平界限说（metabolic-level boundaries hypothesis），即根据动物的不同代谢水平和生理状态（如冬眠、蛰伏和冷刺激等），代谢尺度的变化范围从 2/3 到 1 [10] 。Darveau 等也指出导致动物整体代谢尺度指数变化的驱动力不是单一的，而是在代谢通路上的多元控制的，并提出了一个多因素模型(multiple-cause model) [11] 。他们认为b值是对代谢和控制的多元贡献因素影响的总和，例如通过计算发现氧气供应速率对于基础代谢率的b值没有任何影响，但对于最大代谢率的b值则具有较大的影响。
最近Brown等提出的生态学代谢理论(Metabolic theory of Ecology, MTE)，使生物的体型和代谢之间的关系又有了新的更广泛的生态学意义 [11] 。MTE理论实际上是Kleiber规律的扩展，认为有机体的代谢速率是功能性的生物学速率，可以控制生态学的格局。MTE理论可以解释个体、种群和群落、以及生态系统等不同水平上的一些现象和问题，如在个体水平上可以解释物种的生活史特征问题，在种群和群落水平上可以解释种群增长和群落多样性的问题，在生态系统水平上可以解释温度与生物量生产力的关系。目前对于MTE理论及其潜在的应用价值尚有争议。
异速增长定律有哪些重要意义呢？一个重要的意义就是有利于我们解释在一个很大的体重变化范围内各种生命现象的变化。同时这个尺度定律也表明，很可能有机体具有一个相似的、甚至是普遍的身体设计原理，而在这些现象背后的这个原理对于我们理解生命世界是非常重要的。异速增长规律至少有两个基本方面的应用：1）在没有直接办法进行相关测定的生物中，如果体重很容易测定的话，可以用来预测生物的有关特征的变化；2）将实际测定的结果与预测的结果进行比较，可以根据测定物种与整体变化模式的差别，解释生物对环境的适应方式。
异速增长规律被认为是一个很强大的预测工具，可以促进生态学理论的发展。体型的生物学意义及其机理的解释，对于我们理解和解释现当今众多的生物学现象（问题）是有很多帮助的。关于体型的其它影响，我们仍有很多的困惑，如不同体型的生物如何在一个群落中和谐共存？体型的意义在种内和种间的有什么差别？体型与性选择、能量代谢、大脑发育、身体发育、肥胖、衰老、繁殖、哺乳时间、种群数量增长等等，存在什么关系？背后的生物学意义和机理是什么？这些问题迄今都没有很让人满意地解释。深入理解异速增长规律无疑会促进生物学某些领域（理论）的发展。诚然，除了体型外，其他因素也会对生物的功能变化具有重要的作用。（动物所 / 王德华）

上一讲中，我们知道了broker是做什么的，以及go-micro默认的实现方案，这个broker作为默认的实现方案，供我们学习使用，一般情况下在生产环境中，大家会根据业务诉求，以及消息是否允许丢失，都会自定义一个实现方案，根据不同的业务需求，选择比较稳定的开源方案，比如Kafka,Nsq,RabbitMq等，甚至Redis中的发布订阅管道也可以作为一个实现方案来选择，就看大家的需要了。
上一讲的最后，我们也提到了，go-micro可插拔的实现一个broker，原理就是定义了一组接口方法，只要你的实现方案中，实现了这组方法，就可以在go-micro中去使用你自定义的broker。

我们简单回顾一下，这个工具是一个分布式的实时消息平台。具有默认情况下，消息不持久，至少被传递一次，消息是无序的等特点。
如何部署一个分布式的集群也很简单，大家可以使用docker来部署一个Nsq集群，然后我们就可以使用Nsq在go-micro的架构下实现我们的异步消息系统了
Broker接口我们再来回顾一下，Broker接口的组成
